Cowboy Action Shooting

We have a very active group of members who participate in the increasingly popular sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. Our Cowboy Shooters compete as The Gunnysackers with a schedule of matches throughout the year. The Gunnysackers also compete in Cowboy Matches that are held throughout New England.

Our matches are all six-stage SASS matches. Ammunition requirements for all matches are 60 rifle, 60 pistol and 25 shotgun. The schedule of matches that will be held in Scituate in 2008 is:
