About the Scituate Rod & Gun Club
The Scituate Rod & Gun Club, incorporated in 1929, is one of the oldest clubs on the South Shore.
SRGC is dedicated to the advancement of good sportsmanship and to the tradition of the shooting sports, hunting, fishing and the preservation open spaces and our environment.
We are a family orientated club which sponsors a number of activities to show our concern for our community.
Events include:

Skeet on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.

Trap on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Lucky Target Skeet Shoots.

Turkey Shoot in the Fall.

Kids Fishing Derby in May.

Archery (traditional, compound and 3D).
Other events include monthly Firearms Safety Courses, dog training demonstrations, beginner shooting lessons, hiking trails and wildlife viewing.
There are hiking, snow shoeing and cross country trails stretching from the club through to a network of trails on town conservation land.
The Club holds one business meeting per month on the first Monday unless otherwise noted on the Calendar page, meetings start at 8:00 PM. Prospective new members are voted in at these meetings.
