Membership Information
Membership is open to any legal resident of the United States. Spouse and Family memberships are also available, as is a Junior membership for those under the age of 18 years. An initiation fee along with one years dues plus any assessments are required for new members. Only one initiation fee per family is required.
A prerequisite for membership is successful completion of a MA approved Firearms Safety Course, Hunter Education Program or proof that such a course has been taken in the past. SRGC gives monthly Safety Courses. Prospective new members can also take such a course at any location offering them.
New members are voted-in at the conclusion of our monthly meetings which are held on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 PM. Prospective members are required to attend a meeting. Bring with you a competed application, your LTC/FID or a copy of either your Firearms Safety Certificate or Hunter Ed. Certificate and cash/check to cover Dues and Initiation Fee. Please DO NOT mail applications.
Current dues are:
Adults: $150
Spouse: $25
Juniors (under18): $10
Family $250 (must be living under one roof)
Initiation fees (one time, once per household):
Adults: $50
Juniors: $5

SRGC strongly recommends joining either the National Rifle Association (NRA) or the Gun Owners Action League of Mass. (GOAL) — better still join both! The NRA looks after the rights of firearms owners at the national level while GOAL looks after our interests locally.
